I'm not sure I want to stay. Spoutible touted itself as a true twitter replacement, a place we could all be safer.

Then it appears to have left sex workers, kinksters, and other groups at specific risk of harassment & abuse online, to fend for themselves on twitter.

Disappointingly judgemental!

Worse still, the promise to build accessibility in from the beginning? Looking around here, I don't see it. Many of the absolute basics are missing. You start as you mean to go on, and the priorities are, well, not *my* communities.

This site is barely useable for me/other disabled friends rn.

This has been the most frustrating to me. I understand it's being built on a budget quickly but a lot of essentials for accessibility have been overlooked. They do seem to be listening and working on fixes for some of it though, and until then using phone access features for magnifying.

When they asked us what we wanted from the platform one of the few things I asked for was they they focus on accessibility PRE release because it always creates a better site for everyone. Sigh.
