Biden, as good as person and administration he may have, still got ol' guard in him.

He's been opposing the expansion of the courts and his reasoning is flawed. Especially the rulings this week and prior.

Make it part of 2024. #ExpandTheCourts

Make him consider it. #Spoutible

Elie Mystal got it right - expanding the court is the rational, ethical, and legal thing to do in a nation which is exponentially growing in size and diversity.

Biden is simply off the mark. He thinks this is 1975. Those days are gone. The GOP has gone full radical reactionary and won't ever be coming back down to Earth. The Court has to be balanced before the black iron cage closes on all of us

Why speak on something you currently have no power to do. That would only get folks hopes up while also giving the corrupted Republican controlled Supreme Court a heads up to implement more voter suppression laws so that they can stay in power. I'm personally glad POTUS is not showing his hand.

It's the called 'the bully pulpit" for a reason. Presidents call on Congress to do a lot of things they don't have the power to control themselves. All the time.

He has shown this hand before. And it doesn't work for a good portion of his base. He has hope in ppl who doesn't deserve it.

And as far as voter suppression laws, Republicans are gonna be corrupt and wrote those no matter what anyone on this does or don't do. Say and don't say.

Trying not to "give them reasons" don't work. They have their reasons already and that's why they've been doing it for generations.

Yep. He's WAY too late. The federalist society has already politicized the courts right in front of him.
