My take is they intend ‘important to us’ without regard for the caller/customer/client. Rather that the caller PERCEIVES they are valued personally. To maintain THEIR profitable relationship.

If they really cared, they would forego the terrible hold music. At least check volume or over modulation .

Mixed bag for me here. Though I don’t spend a lot of time specifically here. Also on Post, most followers after Twitter, Tribel, few f/f but most interaction. Just have started Bluesky and growing a bit, but less f/f than here. And all are a bit different in usage/content.

…fluid investors to grab repos from lenders for fractions of the loan value. This, those who had an dream of home ownership lost out. Becoming renters again. No capital to buy even in the clearance market. Plus, bad credit resulting.

Pandemic/Climate make homes scarce. Great for landlord gouging.🛑

The banks were glad to even if loans may default. They wrongly reasoned the result was getting back properties with increased values. EXCEPT, it was them artistically boosting values. The jobs, income and economy never actually did.

The bubble burst, June 2006. BUT an opportunity for cash… 2/👉

Ever since 2008. If crafty, not in 2006. Those people lost nearly everything. June 2006, the realities hit on the unsupported increased property values.

Banks, investors, had been making bad loans, jumbo loans that borrowers had no income directly to support. The income came from buy/flip 1/👉

They certainly happen. But perhaps not where to focus our attention. Opting for more positive thoughts. 👍😊✌️

This illustrates the quote perfectly. Rather than me accepting your characterization, I’ll determine my own perspective.

Baiting replies aside. 😉

That’s the box you view it in. You apply your parameters for what I shared. Okay with me, but not related to my thought.

You’re applying your assumptions and context. Not something I can comment on. I’d have skipped making a comment at all, but figured I should make note since you also characterized me.

How you interpret what content you consume is not up to me. But neither does that make it accurate. I’m moving on.

I’ve not seen the clip from Aubrey, will look for it. Found you spout looking for posts about her birthday. Not sure the origin of this. Found it quite some time ago. But I find it clever and hilarious. #NutMilking #humor

More on that quote. This is a thought I find interesting. It deserves to be pondered further. Though it may seem at odds with what we already think, time is perhaps the main concern of living. The past is gone, even if enjoyed. The future is never certain or assured. Only ‘now’.

This thought also made me think of this Rolling Stones lyric:

But if you try sometime you'll find
You get what you need
