Definitely. I thought of the EPA and some of the more beneficial things that Nixon had done, but since the American Right changed so dramatically with Reagan, I thought I'd narrow the range to Ronnie and onward.

Honestly not sure what even NON-conservative positives that they've brought since then.

So to your point, the last time that principle was used was when Clinton (D) balanced the budget in his second term?

Gonna be real interesting when these companies that laid-off all their web development teams in favor of some underpaid social media folks start to realize the cost of that as they pivot back to their own websites.

Grover Norquist, Robert Bork, Thomas Hofeller, and Newt Gingrich are some of the unsung villains for most of the damage that's been done to America by the GOP over the last 50 years.

Budgeting, antitrust, gerrymandering and general obstruction and divisiveness can all be tracked back to them.

Weird. It let me type all the way up to "thought" and was just at 300 characters when I clicked the "spout off" button, but when it finally posted, 3 characters got cut off.

And the left's "freedom to be left alone" is what the right has actually managed to convince their own base is what they supposedly believe in!

How many republican voters would actually vote for democratic candidates if they came to terms with the reality around the two parties' stance on freedom
