I had that happen too. I had one I paid a lot for on the other side of our door, which bit the dust after a year or two. I got this one on sale at the end of the season and it's been there about 15 years now.

Exactly. The only way Trump can win with his high floor & low ceiling is by discouraging enough Biden voters. So the media is trying to do that to keep it close. But if it was Trump outraising & out-organizing & out-messaging Biden instead of vice versa, they'd be writing Biden off.

In 2006, the NY Tines ran more front page cover stories about Hillary's emails in the 6 days before the election than about ALL POLICY ISSUES COMBINED in the previous 69 days.

No poll should be published unless the news outlet has also written 25 fact-based stories per poll on what the candidates have done & said on ISSUES. Polls are all speculation & projection & I'm so tired of news campaign coverage being all about THAT.

Ignore all polls & spend your time talking to people you know about how critical it is to vote. Ask that college student you know who just learned about Gaza in October if they know that the GOP is campaigning on letting Palestinians into the U.S. as a scare tactic.

Instead, we should be talking to family & friends especially those who lean left (sane) & urge them to think about whether feeling "meh" on Biden is a reason to doom the economy, environment, democracy, women's personhood, access to health care, public education and more.

Ignore every poll. They're the main example of media failure. instead of covering what is actually going on, they're absorbed in projection & speculation & they're hyping "bad polls for Biden" to make us crumble in despair & make a race that shouldn't be remotely close a real "horse race."

This is making me crazy & what's leading Republicans to poll more than 10 points ahead of Democrats on who's most trusted with the economy even though Trump openly told us he plans to wreck the economy if elected—just as his recent GOP predecessors have & just as he did last time.

Worse is their hammering—like the NYT "breaking" story this morning—that Trump is winning the election & is virtually unbeatable despite having no campaign, little fundraising, openly saying he'll overthrow democracy & having 88 felony charges. In the real world, no legit news outlet would say that.

I'm sick of Yost wasting our tax money on his partisan issues such as this or trying to prove we didn't REALLY vote to protect reproductive rights last year. Meanwhile, as auditor, he turned a blind eye when his pal Bill Lager of ECOT schools stole 100s of millions of our education tax $$$.

Depends where and what they are. If you have swastikas on your face, you probably will have a hard time getting a corporate job. A good friend of mine who's a nurse/ practitioner, has lots of tattoos including a giant eagle on her back. All are covered by her uniform so it's her business alone.

Unsurprisingly, Jim Crow lives & reigns in Mississippi. As the legendary Miss. Governor Ross Barnett (1898-1987) once said when asked why a county with thousands of black people had only a dozen registered voters, "Our Negroes* are happy with the way things are. They don't want to vote."

And any Republican who thinks abortion should be banned totally or supports a 6-week ban like Florida's needs to publicly rip Trump to shreds for saying he's ok with 15 weeks or else they're just misogynist liars. Which they are. But they don't have the guts & don't believe abortion is "murder."

Once they've caved they expose that they're lying when they say abortion "murders" an "unborn child." Once you say you're OK with 15 weeks you can't go for 6 week or a total ban—you're admitting you just hate women.

I'm deeply bothered by people who are demonstrating/advocating for a "side" in this. It's complex: there is no devil/angel divide. No one who understands what's happening can be "pro-Palestine" or "pro-Israel."
