That way makes more sense -- it's a pic of a bio. :)

You shouldn't be embarrassed, it's not an everyday word! :)
The people who SHOULD be embarrassed are in the town where my SIL used to live, who would order "FA-jih-tas" at the Mexican restaurant. 😁

I have a memory of people pronouncing it "as-par-ta-mee" when it first came out. It's only within the last 5 years or so that I've heard "as-par-tame".
But it was a long time ago, maybe I imagined it. :P

For the longest time I thought "awry" was pronounced "aw-ree". Fortunately I never had to say it out loud.

I still tell my sister she should have sued the wrapping paper company for not printing on the packaging "Do not leave unrolled at the bottom of the stairs because you could slip on it and break your ankle."

I don't remember our parents ever telling us that, so I find it weird (and disgusting) that some parents do. But we weren't huggers growing up. Maybe that helped.

I would really wonder about that person's intelligence, empathy, and mental health.

(I don't tweet at 3am anymore because in 2020 I called someone an idiot. Far lefty who said Biden is a fascist. I was correct that that guy is an idiot, but it was rude to call him that.)

Why should any kid be made to kiss (or hug, or any touch other than a handshake) as a greeting in the first place? (Aside from European cheek kisses)

I think Beechers is the place at Sea-Tac that has the AMAZING grilled cheese sandwiches. I'm not usually on that concourse, though. 😭

She's not helping GA or the rest of the country (or the planet) , but she's doing the job her voters elected her to do, which is to lie, obstruct, and troll.
Her campaign slogan was "Save America, Stop Socialism". She shopped for a district whose voters would believe that garbage and found GA-14.

I liked the idea of Rolos when they first arrived on the scene, because I love caramels, but I don't like the way it drips out when I eat it. BUT they'd work perfectly in a s'more because everything is melty anyway and held together by the graham cracker.

Every time I've seen "2024" in the past year, it's been about the election. So I get a little queasy realizing we're in 2024 now. Hopefully it will wear off until it's time for the real nausea to start. 🙂

A *new* study? I thought it's been known for awhile. A decades-ago study found the happiest people were a bunch of nuns living communally in a convent, no men bugging them to make sandwiches.
