My honest prediction for the 2024 election is that Biden wins every state that he won plus Texas and Alaska. Suburban and heavily nonwhite regions get bluer, and rural areas are stagnant or get even redder. The national vote is around D+7, on par with 2018. The House vote matches the POTUS vote.

A big difference between British vs American English is that British English sounds different from place to place (especially between the mini-nations like England vs Scotland especially) while American English is mostly the same often indistinguishable geographically.

Last year, I said people flocking to Threads were making a big mistake if they were interested in news and politics. Many of them helped migrate their followers to Threads, and they are not even wanted. Now, it will be harder for them to say "follow me here" to another platform and Meta knows it.

Trumpers say that the DOJ is being weaponized against Trump and his allies. No, it is actually being soft on them and biased towards Republicans. Look at how they had a biased special counsel, Robert Hur, who still couldn't indict. If we had a fair DOJ, Trump would be in prison right now.
