I am no fan of Al Jazeera (I blocked them from my list of news outlets on Spoutible after a dishonest hit piece they published on Biden).
But this is a very troubling move. Banning a major media outlet from a country is something normally associated with authoritarian regimes.

This is not, in any way, in agreement with what I posted.
I'm not opposed to more regulation of some things, but a total ban on ownership by non-Americans reeks of xenophobia. And banning news outlets sounds good to some Democrats now, but we'd be singing a different tune if Trump had that power.
