Thank you so much! Yeah, our first anniversary I recreated some of the rides and food in our apartment. She loved it so much that we just decided to keep it going (food-wise)!

It's a thin beard that stretches from one sideburns down and around the chin to the other sideburns. Some people can pull it off, and it's a popular style, but... not like this.

Apparently two people got into an argument and one shot the other. So much for "an armed society is a polite society."

We really just live in an active war zone where the combatants are paranoid assholes with guns vs people just trying to live their lives. It's insanity.

"What some consider corruption..." Naw, it's corruption. Textbook example of bribes. These people had cases before the court! It's just so blatant and it needs to be called out. The media is failing us by tip-toeing around these issues.

I took two. One to cleanse, one to calm. It really is a wretched hive of scum and villainy over there. I hope the rational, good-natured people coalesce into alternative social platforms sooner rather than later. If I had a bunch of tech money I'd give it to Spoutible. I really to love it here.

I've had one negative experience on this site so far, and it was because I pointed out some blatant trolling in a space @cbouzy did to address the sexual content guidelines. I got one troll, blocked them, and that was the end of the episode. Otherwise, it's been nothing but decent, supportive folks.

I want to try to buy some equipment to capture broadcast quality voiceovers at home. I've priced out a reasonable set-up, but it's still way too much for me at the moment. If you follow my work, or are curious about it consider dropping by my page. Have a great one!

Yeah, I describe it to my wife as a "big jumble of black wire that continues to tangle and add more connections until my brain can't process it anymore and I just freeze up for like 5 minutes." It's crippling sometimes.

Lol, you have no idea. This woman has screamed at the top of her lungs in front of our window at like 9pm about how she's, "SO DONE WITH THIS!" And me and my wife just look at each other, using telepathy, "She's loving this, and she'll be back tomorrow."

Thank you, Obi. A job at Target across the street would be better than what they are offering. She mainly took the job because she thought it would be interesting and she could learn some skills. It's sad because she's so good at everything and they just can't stop being terrible. 🫠

She's already quit. They just don't know it yet. Today was the last straw. They heaped so much praise on her for taking the position, then turned around and loaded her with work outside of her hours and job description. Her attitude was, "I'm going to make sure they miss me when I'm gone."

Workers need more power. They make up the majority of this country, they make everything go. People like my dad who is working 6 days a week now and can't take vacation. People like my wife who had to take a job to keep us off the street. The bootstrap narrative has crippled us, and it needs to die.

I told her she could quit right now if she wanted to. I'd take care of us. I'm so sick of these companies treating us like cogs. She works full time with no benefits, no PTO, and no chance of working remote (which is what she asked for today and was told in her job interview she'd be able to. (2/3)

It seems like a no-brainer, but you don't know what normal and healthy look like until you've experienced it. My group is comprised of irreplaceable friends who all support me as the GM and each other in and out of game. It's truly remarkable, and I am so grateful.

Lol, I see what you did there. I think you're right in the long run, but I also think this deluge of people trying to use this tech to game side hustles or infiltrate contests are going to be a problem for a while. I did read that someone just lost a copyright case for trying to make an AI comic.
