The racism in this country, against the first nations people is so firmly entrenched, especially in the older, more conservative generation, I don't know how you can budge them. I'm hoping it's the younger generation that carries it over the line.

I sympathise, I've had 2 of those & they're very painful 😢
I was pregnant twice & had a ganglion cyst on my right thumb joint each time. I can't help you with a cure though, sorry, both cleared up within a day of having them.

People choose to live the life that suits them.
Unless they are physically harming others (by they I mean abusers, rapists, murderers, paedophiles etc), I don't know why anyone's life should be open for such public discourse.

I think focusing on these 2 issues will cause serious problems for 2024.
Play the long game, win back all 3 bodies & then focus on these.
Which is not to say do nothing, 1,4 & 5 should be where the focus is. Pointless arming the opposition.

As far as I understand, there's nothing in your constitution that would prevent compulsory voting either. The 1st amendment doesn't preclude it.

I use a cheese sauce, rather than a plain white sauce.
And yes, you can overdo it 🤣
Except on the top. I cover mine with cheese sauce & then grated cheese 🧀
So it doesn't dry out in the oven.

People I followed regularly are high tailing it for Post, Mastedon, Bluesky & now thread, none of them I find appealing, for many reasons.
Some have come here & I'm trying to engage with those, so they don't bugger off somewhere else too.

There is a legal process to refer this back to the courts & have this overturned, is there not?
Why are there so many good lawyers bemoaning this decision & not filing to have it overturned?
I'm sure a go fund me would cover the cost.

My gut feeling is that expanding the SC is a very contentious issue 🤔
Biden is canny enough to not give ammunition to the republicans in supporting expansion.
There are plenty of issues he can win on, this muddies the water.
When they control the 3 bodies again, I think it will be different. 😊
