I was diagnosed January 2, 202 , had surgery on February 4th. No meds, no chemo or radiation. Was told last October that I was cancer free. Given the option for a follow-up in October, which I accepted. Very thankful for Universal Healthcare as my bill for everything was 0 dollars!

Growing up across the river from Motown, I never get tired of listening to that music. Many of those singers would cross the border and perform at CKLW on Riverside Drive. It was an "International audience"! I was too young to go, but my sisters and cousins got to enjoy such performers

Thanks for the recipe. I do use 1 cup of flour and 1 cup of milk . Mine remain flat due to no baking powder. Plump or not all pancakes are delicious!

Very easy as I use 2 eggs, flour, milk to thin as I whisk away. Add cinnamon, some butter, vanilla and a wee bit of salt. I also use coconut oil to prepare them in the frying pan/griddle. They are more like crepes tbh!

It's Family Day! It was nice seeing so many families of all ages and backgrounds enjoying the many activities that their communities had to offer today. Weather has been so great for being outdoors too.
