To think, I went to college in that state, got my 1st job there, worked at one of the biggest companies in the state, and lived there for 10 years. I was comfortable, doing well.
And had it not been for my mother, I probably would have stayed there. I am so happy she urged me to come home. 😅

So, in the death watch tradition for Former President Jimmy Carter, I will share the following:
I met Jimmy Carter at one of his book signings. He had written a book about his mother and came to Sam's Club on his book tour. I'd never met a person with such an angelic presence before. I was in awe.

Hey Susan 🖐
So, i now don't know anyone offline who still even masks at the Drs, (apart from ppl i met online because of Covid).
1 by 1 all my loved ones went rhino, and it's increasingly hard to sustain those relationships.
I actually think this might be the hardest part of the pandemic. 🥹

I'm usually the only masked person everywhere I go.
Not a single respiratory illness in 3 years and I'm in close contact with hundreds of people per day at work.

Interesting to see some folks more upset about porn not being allowed on Spoutible than they are about books by Black, Latino, and Indigenous authors not being allowed in schools, but that's none of my business. #IStandWithBouzy

An honest man who called it the way he saw it - truthfully. It’s too bad voters didn’t like it. They preferred the Hollywood version. I am glad he outshined his critics and proved the content of his character.. Looking over his entire life's accomplishments - what a fantastic human. #JimmyCarter

Jimmy Carter is a reminder that moral leadership--not just in words, but deeds--can create a better world. The continuing appeal of cruelty and sociopathy for many voters will only hasten the downward spiral.
