Just read the indictment. This should be required reading. As a professor of rhetoric, the plain and simple explanations of the charges could really be a model of how to take complex, legal issues and make them digestible for the average person. This is not a comment on the validity of the charges.

The Trump indictment is a powerful document, but to me the deprivation of rights charge is the most important. Through fraud and deceit, Trump tried to override the votes of 81M Americans. I’m glad DOJ is trying to hold him accountable for that.
