The absolute only thing that happens to qualify those children as US citizens is that they were born here. Not being conceived here. Not having parents who are citizens. In the US, it matters where you were BORN. Not born yet? Not a citizen yet.

This isn't so crazy. Women from Russia come here to have their children. I'm sure other countries too, but I know specifically of women who came from Russia. That child, born here, is a US citizen. It will go back to Russia and live its life, but it's still a US citizen. /3
