It's odd--he's done a lot of good environmental legal work, but has a huge conspiratorial blind spot for science and politics. Maybe a desire for power and money corrupted him, or it's that brain worm he's been talking about, but he's diving down many rightwing rabbit holes, and he's dangerous.

I'm reserving (most of) my judgement until the next violation response. The 10 violations so far all happened before the ruling as to which posts qualified as actual violations, and the clear definition of the specifics. He seems to be trying very hard to avoid any basis for a successful appeal.

"It is insane to me that someone in this role doesn’t understand that democracy is the superstructure for literally everything else. Democracy isn’t an issue that matters because of public opinion. It’s *the* issue that makes free public opinion possible."

"Conceptualizing democracy as a kind of niche issue that a free press should only prioritize in coverage according to how many people rate its importance in a poll is a huge tell about why the NYTimes’s current election coverage has been so myopic, timid, and consistently unable to meet the moment."

Yes, they don't have anything to offer that voters want, so their only chance is to try to discredit Democrats, and progressive policies in general. I support the right to peacefully protest such horrors though, and hope that this experience activates them politically, so that the youth turnout is🔥

Trump doesn't argue policies. He lies, talks over everyone and physically dominates/threatens. He ignores rules and would bombard Biden with attacks on Hunter to anger him, take facts out of the discourse and put him on the defensive, and it would work.

She would claim that the pup was dangerous, because when she grabbed it, the pup tried to bite her (I would too!).
I would guess that the law would treat it like euthanasia, unfortunately. Our society doesn't put enough value on non-human lives, or quality of life.

Stick to low fiber foods for a few days before the prep; white bread, no raw or stringy vegetables, etc. During, clear broth makes you feel like you're still having meals, & gummies/jujubes feel like solid food & are allowed, as long as you stick to light colored ones (nothing red/blue/purple). GL!

Overall average life expectancy was so low in the past because high infant mortality lowers the averages by a lot. But even looking at average life expectancy for 20-yr-olds in 1900, the best case scenario for his "Ottoman Empire" BS, women lived to 62, men to 61. He's full of shit, as they all are.

From what I understand, to get a warrant they have to provide recent evidence that the papers are there. So an employee would have to say "I saw classified markings on papers in 'X' place on a date within the last month." [Or something similar -- I don't know exact details.]

Horribly irresponsible of NPR. ONE voter???
+ it's based on a deep misunderstanding of the purpose of the SOTU -- she praised Biden's policies throughout, then NPR sums it up:
"she was disappointed
there wasn't more detail.... She
wanted more depth, instead of a speech that just hit all the
bases."
