DeSantis's bill to "make it easier to sue journalists" is really the New Boats for Lawyers Bill. If passed, it'll protect bigots, slanderers and those who commit libel, but not their victims.

Some misguided people are preparing for a National Day of Hate demonstration tomorrow. Let's show them they are not welcome in our towns. They don't reflect American values. They are dangerous to the quality of our lives. And, we don't want our kids to see them. We can do better. Much better.
