Dan Rather is right. If we are going to avoid authoritarianism, we have to work. Almost all I see is "Vote Blue!" Ofc we must vote 🟦. But MILLIONS of us must do much more than just vote. We have to outwork MAGA Get Out The Vote volunteers in turning out OUR intermittent Dem voters in swing states.

"CORPORATE PROFITS drove 53% of inflation during the second and third quarters of 2023 and more than one-third since the start of the pandemic. Prior to the pandemic, profits drove just 11% of price growth."

THE WHOLE GAME, CORPORATE PROFITS 💰💰

The 2024 election isn't just about the presidency. We continue to learn with great shock & horror that the Supreme Court is on the ballot, too. It always is. Knowing that the presidential contest is binary, Biden or Trump, the choice is clear and the time to mobilize for a dominating victory is now.

It´s important because it is usually the extreme positions that attract the most attention from both journalists and politicians. As a result, they receive attention that is disproportionate to their importance.

The mass protests will remind politicians and journalists alike to find the right balance.

Conclusion: Civil society and its values still exist in this time of hyper-individualism and the mass protests allow us to experience it. This is a reason for optimism and hope.

I found out that some of my Democrat cousins are voting for Nikki Haley not because they don't want Trump to get the R nomination, but because they don't want Biden to serve another term.

If you're one of those people, I'm very disappointed in you.

Women and girls here are suffering because they can't get safe reproductive care. Repub governors are refusing money to feed kids.
I'm truly ashamed at how dumbed down we've become that we have to try to convince Americans to save their own fucking lives. #HistoryRepeatsItself

More evidence of my naïveté: I honestly thought political media would care far more about women and girls dying due to lack of access to abortion care than they would over a U.S. Senator wearing a hoodie to work. Serves me right.

Word got back to Melissa a guy she did a project with said she's "difficult to work with." We know why he'd say that – she didn't go along with a lot of what he wanted as it was foolish & uninformed. He was the incompetent one, but now, because she's an assertive woman, she's the bitch who (cont.)

THESE are the questions the media should be asking:

Who is paying for the attacks on Fani Willis?

Where is all the money coming from?

The public deserves to know

In my opinion, Democrats don't have a messaging problem, the media has a Democrats problem.
I have sense enough to get iformation directly from the source, because I can't depend on local and network news to air facts.
If the media devoted HALF of the time they spend on that orange a**hole
