Rhubarb. It comes back every year, love watching it poke thru the mulch after the snow melts and turn into a huge leafy plant. We cut it several times over the spring/summer and give to neighbors and relatives. We just used the last of the chopped/frozen this week and picked the first of 2024.

They are! Unless you’re not a fan of chocolate, pecans or graham crackers…but since they go fast at events I make them for, I assume that most people enjoy them. 😁

Appreciate your reporting on the NY trail. It’s the only thing I go to X to read. Please post here on Spoutible so I do not need to visit that site. Thanks!

He was a brilliant artist, and yes, depression is not easy to live with or always control. Wishing you wellness & peace. 💕

Ps - The Met is definitely worth it if you get a chance to go to Manhattan. We went with my daughter & SIL on their “farewell” tour of NYC before they moved from Brklyn to WI.

Just an FYI, in NY state the max fine the judge can impose is $1000 for each violation.

I don’t click on ads inside any social media. If I see a company I am interested in, I make a note and do a search of product reviews, website trustworthiness and BBB comments outside of the app.

Not sure if I avoid the marketing cookies, but I try to not give them more info than necessary. 🙂

Finding your “pod” just means finding accounts with similar interests. I use #s to find folks who spout about cats, music, politics, crochet, Wisconsin, humor, boomers like myself. 😊

Hashtag your spouts, comment on spouts and quote spout. The more folks you follow, the more interactions you’ll get

In WI, it would seem that all rural are R, but there are definite pockets of Ds in rural counties. The map shows the results of the 2023 Spring Election for WI SC.(Wikipedia). Justice Protasiewicz, the “liberal” candidate won 54% vs 44%.

Now you have me wondering if stoop is a regional word. I’ve heard it in some places in WI, but not a common term in my little hometown. There were Dutch settlers in nearby places such as Little Chute, Green Bay and Oostburg. 😊

Um, from what I recall, off-roading includes going thru mud, bumpy fields, hills and occasional small streams. So just avoid that…
In other words, paved roads but not in the snow or rain. Got it. 🙄
