1/2 Foundation of our criminal justice system is built on white supremacy. Police departments evolved from slave patrols. Black folks make up 13% of total USA population but account for 37% of total prison population. Hispanics make up 20% of USA population but account for 30% of prison pop.

I've stopped watching all talk/news shows and can't imagine going back until after the election. Nicole Wallace and Rachael Maddow are my favorites but I can not take 10+ months hearing Criminal tRump's shenanigans leading up to the election. Nothing is going to change with him and I'm sick of him.

For this focaccia bread, I used radishes that I cut into flower shapes, bell peppers, chia seeds, star anise, pumpkin seeds, zucchini, pink peppercorn, black olives, lavender, parsley (fresh & dried), chives, oregano, thyme & pink Himalayan salt as the toppings. There's a tree in the middle made of zucchini with radishes cut into flowers, and parsley for the leaves. There are a few radish flowers at the base of the tree, and bell pepper flowers on either side of the tree. On one side of the tree, there is a cluster of dried lavender buds to resemble a flower. There is also a butterfly in one corner with radish wings.]()
