I agree - concerts streamed online costs less than watching a show at a venue. But ... nothiing beats the live experience if you can swing it.

I obviously do not know your taste in music but there's alot of new talent, playing at venues where the music means more than the cost of tickets. Regarding popular artists, how do you feel about all-inclusive pricing where there are no extra fees added to the price of tickets?

But Jen The Muse, the issue of Junk Fees relates to extra fees not ticket prices. Tickets prices are determined mostly in part, by what the artist wants to earn. The issue with LN owning TM has more to do with exclusivity and the fees.

LiveNation is the largest concert promoter, plus manages concert venues & own the ticketing company so they will be fine. LN should reveal all pricing (face value, convenience fees, order fees) b4 the customer pays. IMO, customers should not have to provide emails before making a decision to buy.

The venue wants you to arrive early, in fact they usually open their doors early enough for people to buy food and merchandise.

Sorry to be late in replying. IMO, professionally & personally, I am in not in favor of assigned seating if it's different pricing. I support the concept of advance purchasing to ensure I get the movie time I want - but prices should be the same, and I will pick my seats once I arrive.

That's the beauty of an online ticketing system that allows you to select your seats based on price, based on section of the house, based on if you prefer one of your seats to be on the aisle or based on whether you have neighbors. That said, most systems will forbid you from leaving single seats.

Sorry about your experience. The public onsale doesn't begin until June 7 so there may be some availability now. I went online and see the VIP Package is available for $196.50 (+fees).

I know someone who has a monthly subscription for unlimited movie tickets - says it's well worth it.

Yes, depending on the show, tickets can go very quickly as supply may outweigh demand. In a previous spout, I mentioned a number of tickets are initailly held back for diff reasons & may be released later, closer to the show. Be careful should you buy from a reseller. Some are legit, some not.

I like the concept and would as well. Regal Theaters are considering having different prices throughout the movie theater based on location (kind of like in a small concert venue). I think that will run into all sorts of problems.

The amount of the discount would be the decision of the promoter/artist/venue, and would apply in situations where they need to move inventory or else run the risk of having empty seats and loss of any ticket revenue (plus loss of merch and concessions).

Hi Kate: Again so sorry. In the future, always first go to the venue's site-if tickets are sold out, you may be redirected to a legitimate secondary seller. Also there are legit 2ndary market sites such as TicketNetwork & Stubhub who only offer real tix. Buying thru Craigslist or Twitter is a no-no.

Great question. At minimum, you're in a specific lot. As far as location of the lot in relationship to the entrance, they should properly inform the customer who can then make a wise decision to pay for it.

Why are the Panthers employing this policy? They want to keep the Maple Leafs fans from attending their home games and they can put on restrictions - I don't agree that they should turn down anyone's money.

Think they are looking at the biling address of the credit card. If you know someone who lives in Florida, have them buy tickets on your behalf. They should be able to forward the order.

Googling for tickets will send you to brokers. Always go to the venue's site first. The venue wil redirect you to either their primary ticketing partner or to an authorized re-seller.

Many venues are shying away from paper tickets so they prefer you opt for mobile delivery. Mementos from concert tickets were worth more from concerts occuring long ago. Now, if your phone should die, the box office can look up your account, and re-print your order.

As long as you are advocating for people on #Spoutible to attend this #concert event, may I suggest you include the link to buy tickets.
