Two things: I had the No Cure for Cancer tape 30something years ago when it came out and this was my favorite bit. Being sick reminded me of it. Other than him talking way too fast, it holds up. Also, I still sing "Nyquil, Nyquil, Nyquil, we love you, you giant fuckin Q!"

I participated in a week-long Arrowmont workshop with Sandy and it has had a major impact on my clay work...If she is still doing any workshops, it would be worth checking out. Take care. Share your project work here when you can

Using common/every day objects is a great/fun way to do impressions in clay. Have you ever looked that the work of Sandra Blain? She is the master IMHO.
Thanks for sharing your tiles!

Listen y'all...the Corproate owned press is compliant/willing to cover for the GOP. Turn off the Corporate press, and find more local sources, and (good) indie sources. Dame Magazine, The Texas Tribune, the Tennessee Holler, and Alternet are good spring boards, and go from there.

Just a quick Greetings and Salutations from NYC. Little Island has been a great addition to the Manhattan landscape. Loving it.

There is a shade of blue
Common on clear days in late summer
It is not a soft shade
But solid definitive blue
And when I see it overhead, like today
I remember another day
With that blue
On a Tuesday in September
When clear skies stretched from my home
To lower Manhattan

That's easy to say when compromise isn't a threat to your life, or the lives of your children. Privilege gets to compromise. Everyone else just gets fucked.

I love the depth, the distant rain on the horizon, and how the flower in the foreground draws us in to notice it all.

I'd rather eat something grown in a lab than processed in a slaughterhouse, and that is before you add in the cruelty, labor violations, and climate damage in the meat industry
AlwaysADiva @AlwaysADiva
Just NO❗

Beware... Lab-grown meat may be heading to a restaurant near you.
