"It's one of the reasons I’ve always been optimistic about Ukrainian prospects. Time and time again they show adaptability and the ability to execute complex operations. The Russians still struggle in these areas"

There are some great quotes from the founder in the article about how this would scare the s**t out of people

🙂

I posted it because I thought that it might be useful in Ukraine

RE: USA and Europe are happy help kill the Russian military

Very much agreed

This is the primary interest of the US and EU

What many people don't grasp is that does not mean that Ukraine gets to "win" or that Russia has to "lose"

It only means that the US & EU's goal is to degrade RU military

There are a million different ways to live your life

How you are living it, and where you are living it, are only one of those million

While you are in the pickle jar of living that 1 way, you can't read the label, or know otherwise

Try getting out there and living in a few different ones

Agreed

Ideally, it would be down to Muscovy and a bunch of former colonies, now independent countries

But that potential future terrifies China, US, and EU, so is an unlikely outcome

They all prefer the devil they know

RE: video

Thanks for the suggestion

It's a personal bias in how I learn/research

I can read a *lot* faster than I can watch videos, so tend to gravitate towards text

Nobody can give Ukraine F-16s without US consent

Europe could conceivably give them Typhoons but are unlikely to outright defy the US on this

Sweden's Gripen would actually be ideal but they don't have many of them and also won't risk their entry into NATO by immediately going against the US

Very much agreed on admiration.

For "together," the major powers need to be seen as the power brokers and final arbiters to retain their status, e.g. US, Germany, & France.

In addition, they want/need to retain bargaining chips for the anticipated peace negotiations.

I am not qualified to comment on the strengths and weaknesses of any military equipment

I have seen high praise of the Swedish CV90 but, again, am not qualified to assess anything

It's frustrating to see how this is being drawn out.

The US may be planning to use it as leverage with Ukraine to force them to accept a peace settlement, e.g. "Cede Russia the Donbas and Crimea and then you get F-16s, more Abrams tanks, and can join NATO"

RE: construct a single-family dwelling in 48 hours

A subdivision of 3-D printed homes is being built in central Texas, USA

It takes them about 2 weeks to print a home

In contrast, it takes about 2 - 3 days to frame a new home of similar size

Because that's the traditional "Cliffs Notes" narrative of the two party's positions relative to security, regardless of recent reality

Media people are as lazy as every other human

They will default to the path of least resistance whenever possible

Just like the rest of us
