A tip, Spoutible is a lot different than Facebook, YouTube, and Twitter in that there's no algorithms. The best way to be visible, is to spout, and to participate. But c'mon in, the water's fine. Also the more you echo a spout, the more people will see that content.

The problem w/ AI: I used GPTZero to check a paragraph I wrote entirely. It came back w/: AI most likely wrote parts of it. As seen in this screenshot, it highlighted most of it. This is problematic esp. when English isn't one's 1st language & uses less complexity in their sentence structure.

My mom was diagnosed w/ mild #dementia . So when she asked for an accordion, we bought her a small one from our recent trip to Mexico City. Been more than 30 years since she held an accordion. But I guess it's like riding a bike. One will always remember the notes, even after a long pause. #music

Take on ChatGPT/AI: I embrace them as tools for democratizing knowledge production. It's interesting how we question AI use but not academics/PIs employing data analysts or ghostwriters. Now that under-resourced folks can access tools to facilitate intellectual work, we suddenly sound alarm bells?
