On this day in 1944, Anne Frank and her family were captured after hiding in the secret annex for two years. 79 years later, the illustrated adaptation is banned in FL and TX bc of the M4L hate group. Texas' new law, effective Sept 1, mandates that booksellers & publishers "rate" or evaluate all the books they sell to or have sold to schools. Not complying will result in being barred from doing biz w/ schools. This is blatantly unconstitutional. Sellers are fighting back with a lawsuit.

Targeting and eliminating DEI programs hurts students, families, workplaces, the military, and our connected communities for years and years. It will keep us in this perpetual fear of each other, ideas, and cultures. This is a big issue. We can't sweep this under the rug. Support DEI in your area.

If you want to watch some nature, go to explore.org and there are many different live cams you can watch. The Brown Bear from Katmai, Alaska, or there are eagle cams, cams from Africa, Beluga Whales, puppy cams, cat cams, polar bears, bison, penguins, etc. :) Great for kids and teachers.
