My spouse and I have worn masks continually and have never gotten pushback in public. We have had a few curious, respectful questions about masking. Where we get pushback is family who don’t want to bother with it anymore.

When you block someone, they cannot reply to people replying to your threads. This prevents trolls from abusing you after you have blocked them. Also, a troll can't reply to you with something nasty and then block you. If that happens, their most recent replies to you will be automatically removed.

When Elon restricted the number of tweets users could view, each of the alternatives experienced a significant surge of new users. Spoutible got a bit slow at times, but we quickly adapted. Bluesky had to pause new sign-ups for several days. I do believe this is why they are still invite-only.
