It matters that Brittany Watts is a Black woman. There's good reason to believe she wouldn't be charged if she was white. AND since she's Black, folks are less likely to have heard her story. AND there IS a comparison between her and Kate Cox, 'cause white reproductive trauma is more sympathetic.
