I think my kids (6th grade and 10th) are ready to be done with school. Both are complaining about unfair teachers and having some struggles in what has been overall a great academic year for them. We have exactly one month left. I hope we can all make it!

Just bc I left my post-doc to raise kids and become a “homemaker” doesn’t mean I was wasting my time in college, grad school, or my post-doc. Those were very formative experiences for me and made me a richer person. Also I contributed to research. What a silly notion! We often contain multitudes.
