So, I’ve been dealing with severe depression, and have decided to take a leave from work to get the help I need. I’m going to share what I can and journal along the way so maybe others can learn from my experience. I’m scared. But I’m not alone. And, for that, I am truly blessed.

I’m taking time to get help for my depression. Can we talk about how fucking hard it is to find treatment on an intensive outpatient or inpatient basis that include anti-racism as a part of their approach? So much of my depression comes from racial trauma. Where is safe? I don’t know.
