Every once in a while, I crave cow milk, so I'll get a half gallon. It gets used sparingly. I should develop a consistent habit of checking the date before doing so, such as this morning. Maybe a quart would be more appropriate.

One of the best therapists I ever availed myself of arrived by chance. Stan, the chaplain from hospice, attended both my folks. Ex military, dad liked him. He helped me more, above and beyond what was required. We talked of pain, suffering, endurance, human spirit.
