A new analysis of 2020 validated voters examines change and continuity in the electorate, both of which contributed to Joe Biden’s victory. It looks at how new voters and voters who turned out in either 2016, 2018 or both voted in the 2020 presidential election, and offers a detailed portrait of the..

We are naive to think the descendants of the folks who successfully crushed Reconstruction and terrorized generations of Black Americans during Jim Crow won’t resort to violence again when they lose at the ballot box. https://www.n

I only block people if I feel endangered by them.
When people are tiresome or inconsiderate, I delete replies, mute them or simply ignore them

Yes, I do expect better from the most influential media outlet in the nation. A healthy democracy cannot exist without the first amendment & a robust free press. To dismiss the failures of the NYT with complacent cynicism is both foolish and dangerous. We must keep pushing them to do better.

Editors like Arthur Sulzberger of the Times are implying that the obligation to listen to readers should fall directly to journalists.
But “accountability” means more than “accountability to readers.” It means accountability to truth and journalistic ethics, integrity and professionalism.
