My unpopular take on Indiana Jones and the Dial of Destiny is that I loved it & don't give a damn about its box office.

Storytelling is rich in metaphor; Ford's great. I don't care what it made over the weekend, I care that it made me cry in the end.

Go see it in a theater.

Missed it (along with most movies in recent years). Might check it out on video.

Your opinion is less unpopular. I enjoyed Indiana Jones and the Dial of Destiny as well. Saw it in a theater. Sometimes a movie can just be enjoyed.

I’ll admit I cried a little at the end too.

My family loved it! It’s nice to see characters who are typically larger than life coming to grips with getting older, adapting to the limitations that brings while also embracing the experience/knowledge it offers.

Yeah. It was a movie about time travel in a lot of different ways.

I randomly and weirdly took this screenshot last night of a quote from a book I’m going to buy/read, and it seems apropos (enough that I will go see the movie)

My family and I plan on seeing it this weekend, I never listen to critics, I like to make up my own mind and I love Indy/Harrison Ford.

I haven’t seen it yet but I will. Wondering if the low box office is a symptom of ageism?
