In 2024, Democrats will need a platform to organize. Democrats can't organize on Mastodon, Post News, Bluesky, or Threads. So that leaves Twitter, Facebook, and Spoutible. Where do you think most Democrats will end up? This is just the start of a very long race.

We need some non-MAGAt Republicans, some Independents, and other voices.

I am a fairly moderate Democrat. Not the norm here.

Are we welcoming other voices?

It doesn't matter how smoothly you talk. How good you are on TV. You can say all the right things but in the end, they will fall in line with MAGA/GQP and support their most oppressive policies. As a Blackman, they have nothing to offer me but pain and suffering. One benefit DeSantis was right about

Now...that makes sense to me.

Over the last couple years, with lots of fighting, I have been able to convince some friends/family of the error of their thinking. Even got them to vote BLUE to save Democracy.

I guess I thought that the SANITY of this site could do that.

Cheers on the effort--and success. #EveryLittleBitHelps

That said, the non-voting and "independent" (i.e., no party affiliation) population is likely a more worthwhile focus. It seems we tend to be drawn into the "fight" with GOP/MAGA (in part because baiting is one of their common tactics).
