Let's try that again!

Meet Spouty! Short for Balaenoptera spoutificus, its scientific name!

And my third ever needle felting project!

I went rogue.

Edited for problems.

Here are my needle-felting projects 1-3. I will say making things that don't exist takes off the pressure of getting the look just right. You did a great job!

I LOVE THEM!!! And yes, you are so right, it really does.

For those of us who find crafts that require perfection sometimes more stressful than restful, it's perfect.

THEY ARE SO CUTE!!

I need to dig out my needle felting supplies and make a few more, it's been a few months since I did these.

You should!! It's such a great hobby and as hobbies go, not even really expensive to start.

Actually picked it up using leftovers from my wool-spinning and dyeing, just something else to do with the materials. There's only so much handspun yarn one person needs (which is far less than I have produced).

The colors are so beautiful!! I bet your wool is GORGEOUS, and hey @Libbiestlib it sounds up your alley!

I was wondering if that's how this all started, it seems like a great way to use materials.

I am not a good enough crocheter for such wool, but Lisa is a heck of a knitter.
