I’m 100% here for Taylor Swift being named TIME’s Person of the Year because of how much it clearly pisses off insecure men who find it unthinkable that a public figure adored this much by young women could be so undeniably powerful.

Taylor Swift scares the shit out of MAGAts and their allies. Their fragile male egos cannot deal with women who are smarter than them, sharper than them, more successful than them, more popular than them, and won’t give them the time of day. I’ll admit I don’t know her music, but she’s impressive.

Taylor is a wonderful inspiration to people. Immensely talented, gutsy and fun. She brings people happiness, that's a good thing in these depressing times. More power to her!

And she's a powerhouse for voting, as well as annoying incels and other unworthy people.

Nothing triggers incels like a powerful, influential woman who wouldn't give them the time of day. Kind of funny watching them trying to take T-swift down. Everytime I see them attack her my mind hears the robotic Transformers sound..."swifties assemble!"

So many are baffled by her. They can't wrap their little minds around someone with that much power NOT abusing it...so NOT the way of their terrible world 🤔

I don't generally like her music (until she releases a Thrash album anyway) - but she fully deserves this. She is H U G E ! ! !

I have nothing but admiration for Taylor in all aspects of how she’s living her lIfe, establishing her career and everything else.

She is rewriting how The Game is played.

She doesn’t need my validation, but I admire what she’s doing and how she’s doing it.

I couldn’t name one of her songs to save my life. I’m delighted to see a powerful woman get the distinction. At first I thought it was peculiar that it went to someone who’s primarily an entertainer, but that has happened one other time—in 2016–and this selection is far superior to that one.

I, as a man who can't name one of her songs, is happy about this, as this will raise her democratic voice to be even louder and help keep Biden another 4 years.

Couldn't agree more. I also love the way she promotes sisterhood and supports other female artists.

That power is exactly what they're afraid of. The way they melt down every times Taylor breathes the word "vote" proves it.

It's really remarkable how many grown cry babies we have in these men when they don't get the attention and centrality they were raised to expect. Sorry fellas, women are in the house now- we always have been. Happy for Taylor Swift

Taylor Swift is an incredible young woman. She walks the walk, and they hate that! I’m so happy that she was chosen. If anyone deserved it, she did.
