2024 will be the most chaotic presidential election in US history.
Deanna Fry @DeannaFryTV
The Colorado Supreme Court on Tuesday declared former President Donald Trump ineligible for the White House under the U.S. Constitution’s insurrection clause and removed him from the state’s presidential primary ballot, setting up a likely showdown in the nation’s highest court

More than 1860? That's fucking terrifying.

Hell, more than 2020 would be terrifying.

You might want to check out the election of 1876 in which the parties bargained the presidency for an end to Reconstruction. https://en.wikipedia.org/w...

If the stakes weren't so serious, I'd say that the 2024 election will be quality entertainment... instead, I'm slightly nauseous.

I hope not. We had domestic terrorists attacked and breached our Capitol in an attempted coup. Worse would mean we lose?

*GOP primary

The general will be a smoothly managed landslide resulting in a Dem trifecta.

Aside from the election there will be drama, disinformation, desperation, and harmful, abusive, and criminal acts… and resignations, civil lawsuits, indictments, and legal rulings.

"The court stayed its decision until Jan. 4, or until the U.S. Supreme Court rules on the case."
"Colorado officials say the issue must be settled by Jan. 5, the deadline for the state to print its presidential primary ballots."

Due to all the parts - people, media, etc flirting with fascism, totalitarianism, etc. Our democracy is always fragile we should never take our eyes 👀 off doing what’s right for everyone. Democracy is the only way.

My prediction: the SC says they cannot ban him from the primary but banning him from the general election is permissible, opening the door to EVERY state doing the same. WI, PA, and MI will be locked out for Trump, along with every Blue state.
