There's been a pattern the last several days.

Person spouts hurtful "joke."
People hurt by hurtful joke explain why.
"Joker" says it's ok because it REALLY hurts target who will never see it.
People say, no, it hurts me.
"Joker" digs in.

Feels kind of trolly to me.

Definitely troll-y. Sure, people make mistakes but when someone refuses to acknowledge the hurt, doubles down on it, refuses to own it? Trolling for sure.

It is trolly. But: I have too many years' experience with cishet white men fauxgressives. Some of them don't think they're trolling.

Honestly, many don't think: they wear WM privilege like an impenetrable helmet & can't see around its eyeslits. Lost cause. Blockety block.
