This was a splashback, so this is a very late reply. But, when I was on Twitter & I woke up & saw I had a ton of notifications I'd think "Oh shit, what did I say?" because it usually meant people were mad. Here it means a lot of people liked, shared & responded kindly to me. I haven't changed.

Im just getting comfortable working my way around Spoutible but it’s familiar like Twitter, much more so than the other platforms with less glitches. People here are friendly and respectful. I hope we can build it up into something big and bustling.

Spoutible is like a huge community block party. Lots of conversations anyone can strike up or join in on, from serious to silly, heartfelt to hilarious and everything in-between. Price

No trolls and no disinformation psybots, and a lot of civility, here at Spoutible. I didn't realize how much Twitter had been turning everyone into frogs in increasingly toxic and boiling water.

I'm still on the bird site too because I follow some cats I like there
But I don't tweet. It feels too confrontational there. I've never felt comfortable. Too many people just looking to ruin someone's day even over stuff that shouldn't be controversial

I like the way people here will mostly just "like" a post or comment with something pleasant. It doesn't seem like most Spouters are out to "get" people, even on controversial subjects. I've "been myself" here and haven't really gotten into trouble

Great crowd. Most are smart, thoughtful, & well read. Better engagement than at the {#id:199116#} or Post.News (the latter of which has some features @Spoutible wd do well to emulate). Outstanding right-minded management &, in contrast to the aforementioned {#id:199116#}, no #Elmo !

1. I like that folks usually back up their spouts with a source -- allows those interested to dig deeper/look for alternative sources.

Enjoying the experience so far tho I haven't connected with isue-focused communities like I have on Twitter (ocean, climate, journalists). I'm hoping more of the folks I engage with and follow on Twitter will come over to @Spoutible . Also looking forward to a Lists feature.
