In order to hear the host, you must allow Spoutible to access the microphone on your device.

Yellow hand: this is to raise your hand to signal to the host you want to speak. If you tap it again, it lowers your hand.

Blue Chat Bubble: This is to enter the chat. When you tap this, the chat becomes full screen. To get out of the chat, you tap/click the red X which is in the top, right corner. You can also tap the button again.

Red Door w/ Arrow: That is to leave the Pod. You can do that at any time. You can also return to the Pod while it’s live. You’ll be prompted to confirm your choice.

The two arrows pointing toward each other allow you to minimize the pod, and to continue navigating Spoutible while you listen in.

If you are given the Speaker Role, you will get a new button, the Green Microphone with a diagonal line through it.
That’s what you tap to turn your mic on. Once its’ on, the diagonal line goes away. You can tap that to turn your mic off.

If you leave the Start time blank, your Pod will start Immediately.
You have the option of naming COHOSTS, SPEAKERS, and MODS. It’s not necessary because you can assign those roles once the POD has started.

The reason you’re seeing finished PODs in the menu is because the host clicked the RED DOOR and not the ORANGE X.
PODS end after 2 hours. If you leave your POD improperly but under the 2 hour mark, you can go back in & shut it down properly. After the 2 hours have elapsed, you’re out of luck.

When you're a listener, you have the ability to view anyone's profile by tapping on their face. Feels weird, you'll get used to it.

Right now PODS are open to everyone with a validated account. Your security settings don’t apply, and your BLOCK and MUTE lists don’t apply.

Just visiting the POD of someone who blocks you isn’t against the rules as far as I know.
You’re free to join, but the host is free to remove you as well.

There are accessibility issues in PODs. I'm not qualified to speak about how to improve the experience for people who use assistive technology. I hope someone will put together a guide and make recommendations.
