If I see one more comment on Instagram about not seeing color, I'm going to snap. You're supposed to see color! You're supposed to acknowledge people's differences while treating them with respect and kindness anyway. "We all bleed red." Bitch, you will bleed if you say that dumb shit again. 😒 😡

No it doesn't. I genuinely don't notice.

I was watching a program (series) that I like and one of the characters commented on his being black, and that was the first time I had noticed.

I suspect that this is less likely in the US where race is a big deal.

I encourage you to look into the history of how settlers in Canada have treated First Nations people. In particular, the residential schools and law enforcement.

It's just as big a deal in Canada, but nobody talks enough about it.

That can’t be true; of course you notice the color of someone’s skin. Even if you genuinely can’t distinguish green from red, as some who are literally colorblind can’t, you can still distinguish light from dark. Stop hiding behind a lie; just say you do your best to not be racist, if that’s true.
