I took this photo the other day while my better half was telling me there is nothing wrong with doggy bags. Am I the only person who doesn't like to bother with doggy bags?

“Doggy bags” or plastic containers from restaurants can mean not cooking for couple days.

They’re great if you have dogs and/or love leftovers

Maybe call it a box. The term "doggie bag" sounds euphemistic or childlike.

Taking good food home is a great idea, because:
- you paid for it,
-it's great leftover, and
-it's yours.

As a food writer in a resort community, I can attest that even at a Ritz-Carlton asking for a box is smart.

'Doggie bag" sounds too much like a bag used to pick up after a dog. 🙂
