Not usually, but one I have been collecting is Fables. It’s amazing. It’s fairy tale characters but in a modern setting.

I don't generally read comics or graphic novels, because I have a hard time following dialogue in them for some reason. However, I picked up Sunstone through a Valentine's Humble Bundle, and enjoyed it. It's a sweet F/F BDSM romance between two goofballs, with absolutely gorgeous art.

I am friends with Joyce Brabner who with her husband Harvey Pekar has written real-life urban working class comics, American Splendor. I love Our Cancer Year by them & her recent book The Courage Party.

Oh, hell yeah. Save for a few comics that criminally remain uncollected (Martian Manhunter miniseries by J M DeMatteis), it's the best way to go with comics.

As to favorites, that's a toughie. I'd say Kurt Busiek's Astro City collections and Warren Ellis and John Cassaday's Planetary series.

I wait until they are collected into an omnibus or hardcover. I don't generally buy single issues, though I've kept a bunch.

My son loans me series to read when they are complete. Then I can read the whole story in the space of a couple days.

You can spot some here, those I was particularly concerned might not do well in storage long-term

Oh, yes. The recent release of J. O'Barr's Crow Special Edition has a place of honor on my bookshelf.

That story has much humanity in the face of atrocity.

I see some of my favorites already listed (Persepolis, Maus and They Called Us.)

A series I remember very fondly sharing with my son is ElfQuest.

I haven’t gotten into most, but I’m fascinated by them. I loved Persepolis and the sequel. I love Guy Delisle!

I don’t regularly read comic books and graphic novels but have read a fair number over the last 30 years. They Called Us Enemy by George Takei and the March trilogy by John Lewis are very good. I have also read some Star Wars and Superman series.

No. I've got Neil Gaiman's Sandman on my list but never seem to get around to it. #SpoutAbout #Books
