Bot Sentinel scores are updated weekly, and they go up and down. My score went up 2 points. If your score is under 50%, then you are fine.

I’m starting to wonder if it’s worth the grief to publish the actual percentage score?
Just showing the level (“Normal”, “Satisfactory” etc) would still get the point across, without all the stress-heads wringing their hands every time their score changes.

As of 6/5/2023 the Bot Sentinel website is using Twitter data? The rating is 8%. The majority of my post on twitter are now shares from spoutible!

I guess the question is, how high does this score have to be to warrant after-school detention? I'm not sure I have the social ability to make it more than, say, a "mild 8-9%", but if I were to gamify it and "skirt the edge of 48-49%," it might be kinda fun....

A #Spoutible conundrum? My % score started heading upward on a day I mostly echoed people's spouts. But we are being encouraged to echo, not to just like, since there is no algorithm driving engagement. This could eventually dissuade me from echoing if the upward % trend continued.

If you do nothing but echo, are you engaging? Maybe replying more or posting your own original content would moderate that uptick. Experiment and find out, I guess.

Don't change the way. Bot Sentinel scores are shown. I like knowing where I'm at in the section I'm in. I like knowing how close I am to the next section if I am close. I find it helpful for me to see the percentages.

I’m at 2%. I’m gonna be honest, I’m the type of person that is going to over analyze - what did I do to get a GPA of 98 instead of 100. I absolutely like the system in theory, I just don’t like not having a perfect score. But that’s a ME problem. I wouldn’t ask to change it, I’ll just get used to it

I don't look at zero as a perfect score. I look as where you're at percentage-wise as being normal. Having a number after normal means normal. Having a zero after normal means you're a new person, just signed up.

Perhaps expressing a model uncertainty term might help. It might be scores within +/- x% indicate model or scoring noise & can be safely ignored, so moving up or down by a few percent is not indicative of real change. I know you are using 25% windows for classification so trends matter more anyway.

Just a thought, I find it contradicting particularly for the future of Spoutible to give the ability of blocking and restrict others from viewing spouts if not followed when Bot Sentinel is the primary purpose. Audience might shrink

People's scores do not actually correlate to their online behavior. People were "disruptive" who were not disruptive. People are starting to be afraid to spout. Concerned that their scores will go up and they will lose followers and get less interaction. I think that is important.

I´ll go out on a limp and say that you can rant and curse as you like and your score will not get up (as long as there´s no harassment involved).
Echoing and hashtagging will raise the score a little, but as long as its < 50, it just shows you are behaving "normal". Therefore no worries.

Just read up on the scores. I had been so excited to see mine climb to 12% - but totally did NOT understand that was not a good thing! 😳
