The more I read and understood my Bible, the more socialist democrat I became. Used to vote Republican a long time ago. Now their morals don’t align with what I’ve learned in my Bible so I vote Democrat.

I started out an independent - turned 18 in 2000, and as a journalism student in college I thought not being a part of either party would be better if I actually became a reporter like I'd planned. LOL. In 2004, I think? I switched to D to vote in the primary.

20+ years Independent from a moderate Republican family until 2020.

I kinda viewed political affiliation like “it’s not a sports team, going ride or die for one party seems… weird.”

That’s as much as I thought about it pre 2020… I wasn’t on twitter before 2020… when I knew better, registered D.

One more #FunFact about me: I registered D in 2020 early enough so I could vote in the primaries, even though the nomination is locked up long before Jersey votes…

I wanted to vote regardless, cause I wanted to be marked as one of the votes against trump AND against Bernie cause fck that mfka🖕

Not registered to a party. I do not believe in the party affiliation bullcrap...I've vote who I think best fits my values and DUMP was never in there for me. Also bums me out, can't vote in primary's. Never became political until I seen what he was doing and from then on I have been watching.

I've always been a Democrat but never voted before 2016. Felt I had to do all I could to keep him out.

My life has been pretty long, actually, so I was independent for a while between several decades before and after as a D.
