What features do you think would be best way to organize, advocate and work together would be on Spoutible?
Please Echo this and vote... or suggest other ways to do it.
Informal poll, but I am curious what YOU think:

DM Groups to coordinate

Lists

Spaces type function

I appreciate when posters include an action with posts: e.g., including the phone number of the Tennessee speaker of the House whose members expelled two Black legislators, or petition signing, etc.

Good poll idea. Links weren't loading (reposting) - feel free to use our resources. The Dems Database has several active sections.

Reporting soon - we'll post those through Dems Hub.

A localized network, state-by-state, is getting dreamed up too. #StrongerTogether

Audio rooms. Doesn't have to be as robust as Clubhouse but something people can dip in & out of to chat.

I think there should be a relentless social media campaign against the senators and congress people who still want AR-15s on our streets. Make it really simple and personal: (Name of senator) wants AR-15s on our streets. Have a template. Add blood. But keep it very simple and repetitive.

This is a good idea. A good place to start is with the Republicans that wear AR15 pins.

a tweetdeck like layout so I can have lists in different columns i.e. news/reporters, politics, nature photography, films/music etc.

Technically I guess this is lists, but scheduled days where we use specific # and boost campaigns/ organizations working towards that goal like #DownBallotMonday #GOTVTuesday etc

To build community we need inline replies below the original post in the timeline. Right now you have to quote the post or comment on the post. Call it a thread, a pod, whatever, but the lack of it is stifling growth on the platform.

I think this is something I need to think on, and not just reply to. I'm not a tech person either, so I'm not sure what would be feasible.

Not sure what your suggesting. It seems that a particular event/concern would be discussed in a closed group instead of being open to the entire Spoutible community.

Closed groups can be used for advocating candidates, issues, etc. That was one thing I liked about Twitter.

It's also good for just chatting with friends.

LISTS

Serves two functions
1) private lists allow us to segment feed by topic/group/etc.

2) group coordination

Even if other group coordination features are marginally better, the multiplicity of purposes should put it highest on the priority list

DM Groups - creating a group of friends to communicate in messages or create a group of "Help the #TennesseeThree " which would have like minded people pop on.

Lists: Allows you to add people to a list so if you want to be able to simply look at your favorite people here, it's all in one place.

DemCast.com/Join is a network of volunteers, who use our social media to amplify Democratic voices and Democratic messages.

We have at least 50 issue specific Twitter DM rooms, where we drop tweets we want other people to amplify.

We also socialize and organize in our DM rooms.

Idea/s: "Spout For Democracy" Group: use a pods/spaces function to coordinate this; "Democracy Pods", etc.

Calls-To-Action can activate large groups. Maybe a certain day of the week is focused on a goal - calling, donating, texting, etc.

Partners: orgs, celeb accounts to amplify

Wow. Pretty even split with the first three options.

I miss lists the most but do not think they are most important for organizing.

Ability to amplify a spout that shows both, original and response. Ability to retain an image when reposting.
