Howdy! Does anyone remember the name of those little space saucer candies sold in the '70s? A little bigger than a quarter in diameter, with shells made of what seemed like thin Styrofoam and little colored beads of hardened sugar inside? Ring any bells?

I don't remember them. Looks like the shells of those little flying saucers are made of something edible similar to communion wafers.

No. These were rounded, like a saucer. You could pinch dents in them with your thumb and finger. And they rattled if you shook them, thanks to the beads inside.
