As others have pointed out, at 9:54 of the video she talks about a plea deal and if it can be done. Lawrence gently moves the conversation along. I stand by my interpretation that she, and many others, are either calling for a pardon or seeking a way out for Trump.

I agree it was a mistake to pardon Nixon. That opened the door in this modern era of blatant white privilege for non-violent crimes. This get-out-of-jail-free-card for white elites goes back to the Civil War for not holding Confederate generals accountable. Trump needs to be held accountable.

And pardoning Nixon set a precedent. Tired of wealthy white presidents pardoning true criminals (crony friends) because they can. This dilutes the "rule of law!" Pardons were not meant for this in my opinion. It's something we need to get rid of asap.
