The words that Rachel actually said were, I recommend Trump be pardoned? Or I support him being pardoned? Or I don't think he should serve time? Or I hope he's pardoned for the good of the country? Or if he's pardoned no big deal? Or did she speculate on what *someone else* may want or support?

It's disgusting. I only get broadcast tv and the amount of coverage being afforded him and the gop re it is nauseating, endless pics and clips of him. Meanwhile Jack Smith's presser got about 5-10 secs of playback and was pretty much the first mention of him.

Happy to be in the camp of White, No Pardon Person. As so many have said - there cannot be two standards of justice. A pardon would just embolden him and others to continue their illegal and unethical activities.

Rachel Maddow was speculating about what the DOJ might do. I do not believe she was backing that choice. When it comes to plea bargaining anything is on the table. Best be prepared for it.
