I think my situation is further complicated by the fact that so many people don't know what ADHD looks like in girls/women. I have called my daughter's nonstop chatter a "wall of sound" since she was three.
Now that she's older and reads for pleasure, this tendency is masked.

My daughter's teachers didn't seem to agree with me, so her doctor doesn't plan to take it any further. Even so, her *suspected* ADHD is having an impact here at home.
