No, there does not have to be a cease fire. There has been 20 years of cease fires, while the terrorists rearm and acquire stronger missiles. There needs to be a surrender, a release of hostages, a disarmament of terrorists, and a chance foe Gazan civilians to create a free, peaceful society.

It is complicated, but both sidesing it doesn’t help. It’s difficult to make peace w/groups that call for genocide. From the River to the Sea=No Israel. Israel has accepted every peace treaty & they’ve refused every one. It’s hard to make peace w/people who just want you dead.

Israeli military does not…some disgruntled ex soldiers may. It’s not a prison, it’s ruled by Hamas, w/shopping malls, resorts, mansions & luxury car dealerships as well as slums. Borders w/Egypt as well as Israel. Their leaders steal aid&live luxuriously in Abu Dahbi but they have no bomb shelters.
