TY. Beautiful to watch but dangerous to be on the sand or the walkways along the front and definitely not along the pathway alongside the entrance to the harbour. The tide was splashing way above that walkway. Had to make do with phone pics but still lovely memories captured. Nature in action.

The sound is better than I expected but I am thinking of investing in a set of speakers as an external add on over the next couple of months. It was quite therapeutic hearing some of the tracks via vinyl again. I need to sort decent storage for these classics & free them from storage boxes🙂

It accommodates 78s as well as LPs and singles. I have very few singles and even in my younger years, vinyls albums were ‘my thing’. I treasure my albums of black artists - especially knowing how hard it was for them to be recognised. One of the off the wall LPs wasTapestry by Carole King. 1971.

I decided after 3+ years without a music system. I would treat myself to a fairly basic system to get me through my remaining years. I chose something that looks ancient like me. It was delivered today. Can be operated remotely and it has Bluetooth. CDs & Cassette facility too.

I kept most of my vinyls.The ones I treasure. I have moved home so many times in the last 45 yrs and my collection has moved with me. Those were the days where the covers were works of art. Some of the covers are fragile but I love them. My siblings and I have a few 78s that belonged to our parents.

Sting perform Live is ethereal. Same for Peter Gabriel, Phil Collins, Mark Knopfler+Dire Straits. I bought an album (CD) many decades ago of Ladysmith Black Mambasa. Never gets old. Many Live performances on video. RiP Joseph your music lives on. //Grandsons no idea how Nana used to rock. Too young.

I am old enough to have vinyl albums of Sting. Masterpieces which have withstood the test of time. My last music system died 3+ yrs ago. I need to replace it with a temporary compact system for now. That track “when we dance” holds memories.

It has always stayed in my memory. Over 50 years ago. It was so regal. Like yours. Mainly white with a touch of red for the beaks. She used to wash it by hand. How she made the centre of it stand straight before the vase was placed in it I will never know. I wish we had a photographic memory of it.

This is beautiful. Gorgeous in fact. I knit and make cards. My mother used to crochet. Your work reminds me of one of my mother’s designs. It was a 3D sculpture of a swan and her young ones. The swan was about 12” height and held a Vase. The babies were all around the base, spread out. Memories.

It is a meaningless outcome. Everything they do is protect their members and along the way they throw in a performative action to tick the box for that decade. It needs root/branch overhaul. Community groups need to be included in any future regulatory body. Get rid of the old guards. All of them.
